“I’m humbled for recognizing my efforts” – Vybrant Faya
Fast rising Ghanaian dancehall sensation, Vybrant Faya has in a press release expressed his profound gratitude to the board of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards –VGMA, The GN People’s Choice Awards now GN Bank Awards and other awards for recognizing his efforts and nominating him in their respective schemes.
Vybrant Faya picked two outstanding nominations this year’s VGMAs which include New Artist of the Year and Best Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year.
About his nomination, the Mampi hitmaker indicated in the release that the board of the VGMA should be applauded for demonstrating confidence in the dancehall genre but most importantly that they’ve shown support for promising brands in a press release.
According to the release, he believes his inclusion in the awards is as a result of hard work and dedication and points to the fact that the people of Ghana have accepted his style of music.
The song, ‘Mampi’ has also been nominated in the Best People’s Song category of the upcoming GN People’s Choice Award now GN Bank Awards.

Seen as the next big thing to steer the African dancehall culture, his song, ‘Mampi, has continued to enjoy massive airplays since its release and has made several headlines in Ghana and abroad.
