Ken Dzirasah reelected as Prez of Handball Association of Ghana

The sitting president of the Handball Association of Ghana (HAG), Ken Dzirasah has maintained his seat after the National Delegates Congress held at the Conference hall of Accra Sport Stadium office last Saturday, May 14, 2016.

Organized to elect new national executive officers for the association; Mr. Dzirasah, who has been the president of HAG for the past 4 years was the only delegate who filed for the presidency position.

At the congress were some members from the Ghana Football Aassociation(GFA), some regional executives, delegates, some players, referees and some section of the media.

In a ‘victory’ speech, Mr. Dzirasah thanked God for how far he has brought him and the association and also asked both new and reelected officers and the various regional executives to support him with love and unity to help develop the association as well as promote the game, Handball in Ghana and even West Africa.

“Football started from one small corner and now football is all over. With your support and love we can also help handball to be established well in Ghana,” he said.

After the election, some new handball souvenirs, donated by a German company to the Association was unveiled. The souvenirs include handball ball’s, jerseys, and whilstles among others.
